Straight answers about forming and running a US LLC as a non-resident.

Getting Started

Can a non-US resident form a US LLC?

Yes. There is no citizenship or residency requirement to own a US LLC. You can form and run it 100% online from anywhere in the world.

Which state should I choose?

Wyoming and New Mexico are popular with non-residents for their low ongoing costs and simple maintenance. Delaware is well known for its business courts and is often preferred by investors. Tell us about your business and we’ll help you compare.

Do I need an SSN or ITIN to get an EIN?

No. Non-residents can get an EIN without an SSN or ITIN. We prepare and submit Form SS-4 to the IRS for you.

Do I need to visit the United States?

No. Formation, your EIN and most bank and payment account applications are completed online.

How long does it take?

Processing times depend on the state and the IRS. We file as soon as we have your details and keep you updated at every step.

What information do you need from me?

Your name, contact details, passport details, your preferred company name and a short description of your business. We’ll tell you exactly what’s needed.

Banking & Payments

Can I open a US bank account remotely?

Many US fintech banks and payment platforms accept LLCs owned by non-residents. We help you prepare and apply — the final approval is always made by the provider.

Can I use Stripe with my US LLC?

Yes. With a US LLC, an EIN and a US bank account, you can apply for a Stripe account. Approval is decided by Stripe.

How do I pay for your service?

By card (Stripe), bKash, Nagad or bank transfer. We send an invoice after you submit the order form.

Taxes & Compliance

What ongoing costs should I expect?

Most states charge a yearly fee or tax — for example, Wyoming’s annual report license tax starts at $60 and Delaware’s LLC annual tax is $400. Registered agent service also renews each year. We remind you before every deadline.

Do I need to file taxes for my LLC?

Foreign-owned single-member LLCs generally must file Form 5472 with a pro forma Form 1120 every year, even with no US income. Your exact obligations depend on your situation — our tax filing expert can prepare and file them for you, including Form 1040-NR, Form 1065 and state annual reports.

Do I need an ITIN?

Not to form an LLC or get an EIN. An ITIN is needed only if you personally have a US tax filing requirement or another valid reason under IRS rules.
